About Me

A Wisconsin native, I was born and grew up in Janesville. I have been flyfishing in Wisconsin for over 17 years. An advanced-level fly-tier, my flies have been ‘tuned’ for Wisconsin waters over the years. Teaching is also a focus including beginner, intermediate and advanced fly-tying classes . . . and I am just beginning to apply my knowledge of Wisconsin streams and rivers to do some guiding. I am a member of the Milwaukee Chapter to Trout Unlimited.

I currently live in Glendale with my wife Maggie and 3 kids: Caitlin, Daniel and Gabe. I recently launched a new, Milwaukee-based agency focused on helping companies apply social media to drive measureable business value. The companykicked off in mid-June 2009 and we are already helping some great companies.

Along with flyfishing, I have become very passionate about photography. Flyfishing has lead me to some remarkably beautiful places and inspiration took over from there: I had to bring these places home with me . . . through pictures.
